Historical Development of Golden Achievers Academy
Golden Achievers Academy draws its roots from a pre-school named Hansel and Gretel Learning Center, inspired by the well-known fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, aimed at catering to the educational needs of the children of Annex 35 and nearby communities in Better Living Subd., Parañaque City.

Golden Achievers Academy was founded by Mrs. Ana Belen Madrid-Zaraspe, a Mathematics and Science teacher for 15 years;

She graduated in 1979 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; and

Received her Certificate in Teaching and Master in Educational Management from Philippine Normal University.

In 1998 HANSEL AND GRETEL LEARNING CENTER offered three levels in preparatory school with only 1 teacher and a teacher aide;

Located at the residence of its founder at Cornelius St., Annex 35 Better Living Subd., Parañaque City;

The living room was converted to a classroom and the play area was the garage area;

Hansel & Gretel Learning Center with the pioneer batch of 26 students;

June 1999, Hansel & Gretel Learning Center move into a bigger venue at Andrew St., Annex 35 Better Living Subd., Parañaque with two classrooms, an office and play area. In this year the population increased from 26 to 65 students;

In June 2001, the school was granted a permit by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) to open the Elementary Grades 1 – 6;

In the school year 2006-2007, Hansel and Gretel opened its door to first and second year high school students, further expanding its social services and commitment to the community;

Thus, from a three-story school building, Hansel and Gretel Academy now houses a twin three-storey edifice to accommodate the incoming freshmen, sophomore and junior students;

After a decade of continuous commitment to quality education, Hansel and Gretel Academy now sports a new name GOLDEN ACHIEVERS ACADEMY in the same location, with the same management now offering complete 1st year to 4th year high school levels.

In 2016 Golden Achievers Academy opened the door to Senior High School – Grade 11 and Grade 12 and now on its 9th year.
