History

Golden Achievers Academy draws its root from a Preschool named Hansel and Gretel Learning Center inspired by the well-known fairy tale Hansel and Gretel aimed cater educational needs of the children of Annex 35 and nearby communities in Better Living, Parañaque City.

In 1998, Hansel and Gretel Learning Center offered three levels only with one (1) teacher and one (1) teacher aide. It was located at the residence of its founder at Cornelius Street, Annex 35, Better Living Subdivision, Parañaque City. The living room was converted to a small classroom and the garage area was the play area.

June 1999, Hansel and Gretel Learning Center move into a bigger place located at Andrew Street, Annex 35, Better Living Subd., Parañaque City with two classrooms, an office and play area. During this year the student population was around 26 to 65 students.

In June 2001, a permit was granted to the school by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) to open the Elementary Grade 1 to 6 level.

In the school year 2006 to 2007, Hansel and Gretel Learning Center opened its door to first- and second-year high school students, further expanding its social services and commitment to the community.

Thus, from a three-story building, Hansel and Gretel Learning Center now houses a twin three-story building to accommodate the incoming First-year Students, Sophomores, and Junior Students.

After a decade of continuous commitment to quality education, Hansel and Gretel Learning Center now carries a new name Golden Achievers Academy in the same location, with the same management and now offering first-year level to fourth-year level of the High school Area.

In 2016, Golden Achievers Academy opens its door to Senior high school. With the following available academic tracks with three (3) strands:

Directress Message

Greetings of Peace and Joy,

Golden Achievers Academy of Parañaque is a non-secretarian educational institution located at Andrew Street, Annex 35, Better Living Subdivision, Parañaque City.

With its commitment to quality education, Golden Achievers Academy of Parañaque has been in existence for 22 years.

At Golden Achievers Academy, we strive to foster a love of learning in all our pupils and students. We believe that love and concern spell success to all our students that is why we always provide a warm and loving environment for them.

I would like to give my heartfelt gratitude to all our dear parents for their overwhelming support, trust and confidence most specially in this very challenging situation.

As stakeholders please let us join hands, be active partners and we can work through anything together – from this crisis, all for one common goal to give what our young children truly deserve – the very best quality education possible.

To all our valued teachers, as a profession I’m sure we will come out of this crisis stronger by collaborating and working together.

One of most important things a teacher can do now is draw on what others are doing. Form community online, share the burden and make things a bit easier.

To all our old pupils and students welcome back.

We would like to give our warm welcome to all our incoming new students and their parents. Thank you for choosing Golden Achievers Academy of Parañaque, your second home.

With warmest regards,

Ana Belen Madrid-Zaraspe
